KTC supports BAM in £600m Somerset school building programme win


Somerset County Council has selected BAM, part of the worldwide construction services company Royal BAM Group, to deliver its £600 million Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. The BSF programme will see all secondary and special schools in Somerset rebuilt or remodelled over the next few years.Key Transport Consultants (KTC) have been retained to provide transport advice to BAM as part of the Somerset BSF programme. The first phase of the Somerset BSF will be the £100 million rebuilding of Bridgwater’s four secondary school and two special schools.

KTC has a proven track record in providing transport adivce on secondary school projects having been responsible for such advice on 13 schools in Bristol, one in North Somerset, one in Gloucestershire and one in Bath & North East Somerset.
