Key Transport Consultants Limited (KTC) advised on transport related matters associated with the redevelopment at Dayhouse Quarry in Tidenham near Chepstow.  The site is within the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire and was previously a hard-rock quarry. Upon closure of the quarry, it was allowed to flood and was then used for leisure activities associated with the National Diving and Activity Centre.  The quarry is now owned and used by a marine engineering company, DEEP, for world-leading research and development. The campus comprises research facilities, offices, warehousing, medical and manufacturing activities, along with staff accommodation, hard and soft landscaping, infrastructure, and associated works.

Outline planning permission was granted at Committee in November 2024 subject to a S106 agreement.  Various temporary and permanent planning consents have also been granted enabling quarry face stabilisation and water-based development to proceed.
