A resolution to grant planning permission was given by the B&NES planning committee in December 2016 for 250 homes and primary school at East Keynsham.
Acting for Mactaggart & Mickel KTC has been providing transport advice on this major land interest for a number of years and the 250 homes represents a first phase.
Work has included making representations to and appearing at the Examination in Public (EIP) in respect of the Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) Core Strategy which was adopted in July 2014 and in which land was successfully released from the Green Belt and allocated for approximately 250 homes, a primary school and safeguarded land for approximately 250 further homes.
KTC is continuing to advise on future development phases and has appeared at the EIP in respect of the B&NES Placemaking Plan and submitting representations to the West of England consultation on the Emerging Spatial Strategy in December 2016.
