KTC were appointed by CMS in 2013 to undertake a swept path analysis of a court yard and parking garage at Bruern Abbey School in Oxfordshire. The instruction included that the vehicles must be able to drop-off passengers at the front door before entering the garage.

It was noted that the internal space within the garage was rather limited and that a turntable was planned to allow vehicles to drive in and drive out of the garage.

Swept path analysis illustrated that due to a restriction on the size of the access to the garage, drivers would have to drive past the front door and turn within the yard before driving into the garage.
