We are now well established in our new office at 26 Berkeley Square in Bristol having moved in during May 2008. Before moving in we celebrated with guests in the empty office. Life in the square is pleasantly quiet, with only two fire evacuations and one bicycle theft so far!
As transport consultants we aim to lead by example and chose the location with sustainable business travel in mind. The office location is proving very convenient for meetings in Bristol city centre, all being within walking distance, whilst for some journeys bus travel is the most convenient. Meanwhile, for those who cycle to work, the steepness of Park Street is proving more of a challenge for some than for others.
Views from the office are mostly of the trees around the edge of the square, which tend to obscure activities within the square itself. However, observant staff have noted that these are varied and include:
