KTC was retained by LiveWest to provide transport planning advice for a residential development, The Paddocks, at Bishops Lydeard, Somerset. The development is for a total of 20 affordable residential dwellings comprising 1 & 2-bedroom accessible bungalows, 1-bedroom Flat-over-Garages, 1-bedroom maisonettes, 2 & 3-bedroom houses and a communal living unit with staff facilities. The site was previously an unused paddock located to the east of Taunton Road. Site access is from Taunton Road via a shared surface. Off-site improvements include footway improvements and safe crossing provision. Planning permission was granted in 2020.
