KTC has been providing transport advice to Mactaggart & Mickel Homes on land at East Keynsham since 2013 and Withies Green is the next phase of development following on from the development now known as Hygge Park by Crest.

Significant traffic capacity analysis was required to determine impact and assess appropriate mitigation. The development has a strong focus on sustainability with very significant improvements proposed to offsite walking and cycling facilities. Improvements are proposed between Saltford and Keynsham Town centre, with a largely segregated cycleway along the A4, and a link to the Bristol Bath Railway Path.

A new signal-controlled junction is to be constructed on the A4 with provision for pedestrian and cycle crossing movements.

Planning permission was granted in February 2023 for around 213 homes and the site has been acquired by Curo.
