Transport Minister Baroness Kramer officially opened the new £13 million multi-storey car park at Bristol Parkway station on 5th September 2014. The car park improvements provide an extra 710 parking spaces, in addition to the 1,100 already there, and proved to be a real challenge to provide within the live station car park with a requirement to serve the forthcoming MetroBus route, all to a very tight programme.
