KTC recently advised Enzygo on proposals for an Energy and Resource Park on a brown field site in Kidderminster. The proposed development, for Power Generation Midland Ltd, comprises an Energy Centre dealing with 75,000 tonnes per annum of commercial and industrial waste and a Plastics Recovery Plant which will receive 30,000 tonnes of plastic waste per annum. The proposed development was granted planning permission by Worcestershire County Council in September 2021. KTC provided a Transport Assessment and an Environmental Statement transport chapter for the planning application.
